CONSTRUCTION OF A 4-6 YEARS OLD CHILD’S HEAD.

1. Partimos de una pella de pasta cerámica formada previamente, con una altura predeterminada la cual será nuestra medida de unidad U (en este caso 12 cm) y con un ancho de 0,73 de U . Establecemos la medida de eje central en nuestra altura (0,50 U)  y la que será nuestra medida de centro de nuestras cavidades oculares (0,55 U).  Marcamos la altura de la nuca 0,7 U en una lectura de arriba hacia abajo y su profundidad Ø U.  / We start with a ball of clay previously made, with a predetermined height which is our measure of unit U (in this case 12 cm) and a width of 0.73 U. 2. Cortamos de la parte posterior de nuestra cabeza hacia el cruce de las marcas anteriores para formar la nuca. Trazamos y establecemos la profundidad  0.44 U y altura Ø U de nuestro hueco auditivo. 3.  Marcamos la altura 0,9 U y profundidad 0,34 U de la mandibula  y cortamos hacia la parte frontal inferior para formarla. / We mark the height 0.9 U and depth 0.34 U of the jaw and cut toward the front bottom to form it.

4.  En la cara frontal establecemos el eje central vertical de simetría (0,5 del ancho de cabeza). Marcamos una quinta parte del ancho de cara justo al centro de nuestra cabeza de manera vertical, esta marca será nuestra distancia entre ojos. Posteriormente trazamos el alto (0,15  U ó 0,28 del ancho de cara) y ancho (0,17 U ó 0,32 del ancho de cara) de las cavidades oculares y retiramos material formando el inicio de ellas. Recordemos que el centro horizontal del ojo es el 0,55 U (debajo de la mitad). /  In frontal face we establish the vertical symmetry axis (0.5 head width). 5. Trazamos una línea vertical en la cara lateral (0,105 U) y marcamos otra inclinada de la parte superior de la cavidad ocular a la intersección de la línea recién trazada con la media del ojo (0,55 U), formando el ángulo de caída del ojo. Marcamos la profundidad de la nariz (0,105 U). 6. En la vista lateral esbozamos una línea inclinada de la parte inferior del cigomático al hueco auditivo para marcar la apófisis y el arco cigomático. 7. 8.  Retiramos material sobrante en el área del maxilar y verificamos las medidas del ancho de la mandíbula en la parte superior (hueco auditivo) e inferior (corte de mandíbula) con el calibrador. 10.  Agregamos la nariz que parte del hueso nasal hasta la espina nasal anterior (a la altura de la nuca 0,7 U)  y el labio superior (sacando la relación aurea de la distancia de la espina nasal anterior a la barbilla).  El ancho de la naríz es una quinta parte del ancho de la cara, el ancho de la boca es hacia el lagrimal. /  We add the nose that born from nasal bone to anterior nasal spine (up to neck 0.7 U) and upper lip (taking the golden proportion of distance from the anterior nasal spine to chin). 11.  Agregamos el labio inferior, nótese que es menor al superior. Posteriormente realizamos dos esferas y las colocamos dentro de las cavidades oculares justo al centro de manera que al recargar un lápiz en las paredes de la cavidad ocular la esfera no rebasa el lápiz. 13. 15.  Cubrimos el área de la fascia temporal y músculos auriculares.
